What Goes Into Your Gas Bill
Today, the price of everything is changing. Groceries, entertainment, and especially transportation costs are on the rise. Natural gas for heating and cooking is no different. That price is changing, too, and if you are a Dominion East Ohio Standard Choice Offer (SCO) customer, here are some things you should know:
If you are eligible for Energy Choice but have not chosen a gas supplier or joined an aggregation program, you are assigned a supplier and your gas rate will conform to the Standard Choice Offer rate.
This rate is based on the results of an auction and approved by the PUCO. Your supplier name will show on your bill to let you know who is supplying your natural gas. Every customer assigned to a supplier will pay the same monthly SCO rate regardless of the supplier.
